This is another favourite of mine that I have no real emotional connection to, but I still like it a lot. The effects are goddamn amazing, and the plot interesting though it often feels like it’s a short story stretched out. Sometimes I started losing interest and getting confused as to what was happening – not because it was too difficult, but because it was sometimes hard to really care. It might sound overly negative for a film I call a favourite, but it’s hard to say what it is that I really like about and that was the most obvious flaw to me.
